Theater in Residency Returns to Brook Park
Get ready for another exciting week of creativity and performance! The BPC’s Theater in Residency program is a unique, six-day theater experience where students learn directly from theater professionals through daily rehearsals and workshops. By the end of the week, they’ll take the stage to perform a musical adaptation of a classic children’s story.
This year’s show: Red Riding Hood
📅 When: December 8–13, 2025
📍 Where: Brook Park Elementary
🕓 Rehearsals: Monday–Friday, 2:45–7:15 PM
🎭 Performances: Saturday at 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM
Who can participate: Open to 1st–5th grade students. Sixty (60) performers and four (4) assistant directors will be selected by lottery—no prior theater experience required.
👉 Submit your Interest Form by November 5 to be entered into the lottery.

BPC Family Night with the Chicago Wolves
Join us for an unforgettable night of hockey and school spirit! On Saturday, November 8 at 7 PM, the Wolves take on the Iowa Wild, and a portion of every ticket sold supports the Brook Park Council.

Game night features AEW Night and Adopt-A-Dog Night and guests can even bring their ice skates for a post-game skate on the ice. Every attendee will receive a Chicago Wolves knit hat, and our group will be seated together in the same section. Plus, our school name will appear on the LED matrix board during the game.
Sweets with Someone Special
Join us for a sweet start to the day! 🍩☕
Bring your someone special—a parent, grandparent, guardian, or favorite grown-up—for a morning treat before school. Enjoy donuts, coffee, juice, and time together with our school community.
